About the event

We live in a world that is striving for perfection at all costs.  Have you ever considered that our true value comes from our mistakes and not from being perfect?

Through the practice of kintsugi, Japanese artists carefully glue broken pieces of pottery back together and seal the cracks with gold as a symbolic celebration of the journey, struggles and challenges. Kintsugi is a way to celebrate the beauty of being perfectly imperfect by making your own “kintsugi” inspired art piece through a relaxing and introspective practice of meditation and gentle seated yoga poses.

We’ll relax our bodies with a very gentle seated yoga practice to rejuvenate our bodies. And finally with a relaxed mind and body, we’ll create a kintsugi pottery piece as a reminder that life’s true beauty is in our challenges, flaws, and imperfections.  We stop looking at our mistakes as losses and start valuing our experiences as golden and valuable lessons.

All-levels everything with accessible and adaptable techniques for everyone. No experience needed.
