Mala Making & Meditation Workshop

You've probably seen malas as a boho chic fashion accesory, but have you ever considered what it means to make your own?

Mala beads can be used to help keep count of your mantras during what’s called a Japa Mala meditation.

Together, we will craft our own and create your very own set of mala beads from beginning to end! This version is a hand-knotted tassel mala but you can choose the 108 beads that fit your intention.

Your mala is a physical reminder of your intention! You will be surprised how attached you will be to your mala and the energy it brings. Sometimes when life gets crazy, you need to bring it back to you. Wear your mala, meditate with your mala or place it in a special place as a reminder of your intentions, goals, dreams and where you want to go. Wear your intention and let it support your soul.

This workshop includes all materials, a group seated meditation and an incredible unique experience! You will leave having made your own beautiful and unique mala to support your meditation practice.

We’ll relax our bodies with a very gentle seated yoga/meditiation practice to rejuvenate our bodies. And finally with a relaxed mind and body, we’ll learn what a japa mala is, it's origins, how to create our own mala from beginning to end.

All-levels everything with accessible and adaptable techniques for everyone. No experience needed.
